Besides, I made a reservation for 2 pax and my room was absolutely prepared to receive just 1. The air conditioning bit all night long every time it reached the temperature set, disturbing a lot our sleep. We had some internet issues on the last day and had to find a Cafe in the neighborhood to get proper connection. Besides that, breakfast was bellow expectations considering Mercure standards and its price. The restaurant is operational though on two nights we were the only people there. However, the room I was in needs renovation. Old, stained carpets and upholstery. In its current condition, the Ibis a few blocks down the road is a much better value. Close to "via gastronomica" street with good restaurants.We did not get the basic room but it worthwhile the costs.
