Here at BC Stones, we are proud of what we have achieved so far and we would like to share with you a little bit about our company, that is based here in Papagaios, the main slate region of Minas Gerais, in Brazil. We have worked in the natural slate industry for nearly 20 years, learning the different skills required to manufacture and supply high quality slate products. In 2007 we started our company; BC Stones, with the aim of producing a range of natural slate products for global distribution. BC Stones team Photo Gallery Our Products Environment All of the water that is used in the manufacturing of our slate products is naturally harvested and completely recycled keeping waste of this natural resource to a minimum. All wood used for the manufacturing of our crates and packaging is supplied from properly managed forests that have a harvest and replant system in place, making sure that they are always planting a few more than are harvested. Another major part of our business is in how we manage our waste (natural slate aggregate). We collect the waste from within our manufacturing process and supply this material to local companies that use the material in the construction industry ( mainly used in our road infrastructure in Brazil).
