Business - 11/02/2019 AccorHotels certified review « Noisy hotel » I only stayed 2 days at the hotel as it was a short work trip.
All me meetings were after 11am as I came from overseas and I needed to rest a bit in the mornings.
However it was hard to rest/sleep as the staff to clean the rooms were extremely noisy (laughing, yelling, banging doors, etc).
I completely understand they have do their job but they should be really careful with this details even more if the “no disturbed please” paper is hanging from the doors.
Apart from the that, on Saturday morning at 9am were some maintenance staff fixing something in the building with a drill, the noise was unbelievable loud.
Last but not least, since I arrived I notice my name, surname, passport were wrong (even the name that’s in the survey is wrong), I informed about it to a guy in the reception called “Bruno”; I told him I needed this fixed as my company is costing my trip and he said he was going to fixed it but never happened, I received all the invoices with the wrong information, names.
Breakfast and food from the restaurant from downstairs were great and staff speaks English without problem.

Also upon entering, the hotel could be much enlivened by either a mirror, mural or other colourful art fixed to the very blank wall at the end of the corridor just before the lifts.
Lack of lighting in the bedroom makes for a very gloomy stay (your staff did kindly find another standard lamp for us) the light switches are unmarked and fiddly to operate and the wardrobes are not user friendly.

However, I sent an email the day before to Camila in order to check about the gym availability.
She said it was under remodeling but I would grt a voucher to use a nerby gym.
When I got there, the staff that checked me in didn’t know anything about voucher and said management was on a meeting and couldn’t do anything.
I couldn’t work out and it really disappointed me.

Unfortunately not having a swimming pool plays a massive deal for me as I live in a coldish country and only visit Brazil once a year for a short period of time.
Had I been aware of it being refurbished to coincide with my stay I would have booked a different hotel.
Sadly the information on the website was not up to date.
