Very well located.
Room and bath clean.
Breakfast is very good.
Two things I did not liked: the noise overwindow and the prices of chocolates and water inside the refrigerator (three times over).

The hotel itself needs a refurbishing since the rooms are quite outdated but even though well maintained.
The not so good side were the old thin towels and the lack of wine options even having the wine menu.

Staff did everything they could to make my stay the best experience.
I had to arrive earlier due to a meeting that was canceled and they made all they could to provide an earlier arrival.

The payment system is antiquated and flawed.
I had to prove a payment with receipt and through the bank as the hotel system did not recognize the payment by credit card automatically.

Instead that we found a "rave party" at the same floor - someone with a lousy and loud music.
So.
we called the manager, but there was none.
At the end we must called the police.
Also, there was a lot of noise during the night, we just couldn't sleep (as our little one).
DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL.

Room is comfortable, but there were missing toilet items (or have you excluded body lotion from the ammenities?).

You could visit all by foot.

Next to the best restaurant and malls of the Batel neighborhood, a very nobel area.
The TV could be larger and we`ve faced some issues trying to tune a couple of channels, but, overall, the stay was very pleasant.

This was my first try on a Mercure hotel with an unfortunate experience.
The cost for breakfast was abusive, the wifi was not free, parking cost was too much and the reception service was very poor.
In a few words it would be more pleasant and much less expensive if I had stayed at an Ibis.
