Since I was there for the San Silvester race, the hotel had many specials and planned meals for such.

Business - 15/12/2017 « Once i have a previuos reservation I don't accept arriving at the hotel and being informed there is no room available.
 » First of all I arrived at the hotel and was informed that despite I have a reservation there was no room available for me.
The customer rep send me with no costs to another Mercure hotel nearby.
However at the other hotel they didn't care about the especial circumstances and didn't provide me solution regarding my luggage for the day after (I was to be at a corporate event and couldn't carry my luggage with my).
In addition to that the quality of the habitations was unlikely according to the price i paid nor to the Mercure standards.

First, the reception staff is incredibly slow and un-reactive.
Though there was only one other person ahead of me, the checkout took a staggering 20 minutes.
Second, there are hardly any sockets in the rooms .
as if we are still living in the 1980s and people don't have gadgets to recharge constantly.

Breakfast OK .
However, the service was far to be at the level of the category of the hotel.
A light bulb was missing from the desk lamp.
I had to take one from an other lamp.
In terms of commercial service, we asked for an early registration but it was not possible without paying an extra night (116 €).
We did it but the price was higher than for the nights previously booked (111.
5 € including breakfast).
We asked for a breakfast but we had also to pay for it.
We used exactly the same room !.
There was no shuttle service, no post-office service.
The service is at the level of a low cost hotel.

Business - 22/11/2017 « Friendly staff, clean rooms, good ambience » Check is was a quick and easy process with the reception staff offering assistance and guidance on the facilities of the hotel.
The rooms were clean on arrival and the daily room cleaning was thorough and efficent and was executed to fit with the times that the room was not occupied.
The breakfast room was well laid out and organised.
The food was both good in quality and wide in variety at breakfast.
A minor dissapiontment ws the quality of the tableware and table top utensils.
The ambience in the hotel was good.
The lack of a relaxing and comfortable Bar area in which to enjoy a relaxing drink prior to dinner in the evening was dissapointing.

I asked the front desk to send someone to fixed but she said there is no control temperature, you just cobtrol on and off.
