It made it difficult to sleep with the light always shining in. I am very surprised that this was never noticed by hotel management and changed out prior to guest's arrival. The room was nice and comfortable.I did note a few minor facts but they weren't enough to disturb my stay. There was a bit of heavy dust on the writing paper/note pad next to the bed and the TV channels were out of sequence/order as exposed on the card in the bedroom. I believe this is not the standard that any guest can find in any Mercure or Accor hotels. Bathroom needs a deep cleaning . Stains all over at corner. Clogged shower no drannaige. Closed doors and some dirty spots all over. Carpets at halway was dirty and stains. In vitoria, they need to improve their acomodations, service and hotel facilities but overall the service is satisfactory.
