Apartment didn't had the baby crib we asked at reservation.
Then it was delivered (a little grimy) without linen.
Hotel receptionist didnt inform us about partial breakfast served before the complete one (we found out when we were leaving, and there was no time left to have it).
Same receptionist said there was no fast food near to the hotel, only delivery, and there was an italian food truck parked by the entrance of Ibis Budget, just by the side of the main entrance.
Also he didnt provided wifi instructions (we forgot to ask, but he didnt say it).
And the snack bar had veeery poor option, less then the one at neighbor Budget Ibis.
So, very short and not so good experience.

Couples - 09/09/2017 « Ibis Afonso Pena is pushing a scam cab service » We took a cab from Ibis Afonso Pena to Belo Horizonte international Airport on August 7th.
These are cabs that park right at the entrance of the hotel.
There was a sign with a promotional fixed price fee on the counter service desk of the same hotel.
When we first approached the driver, we asked if we could pay with a credit card since we did not have any money on us.
No problem, he said.
The driver, name is WELLINGTON MARTINS.
This driver took the longest route to get to the airport.
Once we got there, she swiped the card multiple times and kept saying that the card did not work.
It got to a point that we were late to take the plane and had to look for an ATM machine to withdraw money and pay the driver in cash since we were about to miss our flight.
When I got to the USA, we realized that the last time he swept the card we were charged.
So he got paid twice for the the trip.
It is unbelievable that IBIS is not protecting their clients of this sort of SCAMMERS.
My spouse is Brazilian and speaks Portuguese.
I wonder what is going on with clients who do not speak the language.

We managed to stay in the same top back room which is quiet and has a view to a local high end club.
Our arrival was a bit bumpy because the receptionist in charge was inexperienced, slow and uninterested in catering to clients.
Later we met Priscilla and her younger coworker (unfortunately I can't recall who her name) who were impeccably professional, welcoming and enthusiastic.

Families - 08/07/2017 « Room was not clean.
 » Although people at reception were very nice, the room was not properly clean.
There were balls of dust on the floor between the beds and hair on the bathroom sink.
Also, the sink and the bathroom floor in the shower had stains.
My boyfriend had already fallen asleep on the bed so we were unable to change rooms.
Very disappointed.
